Hi John,
My name is Greg Stanton. I’m a Congressman from Arizona and I’m reaching out because I’m currently running in one of the tightest races in the country. For the last four years, I’ve proudly represented Arizona’s 9th Congressional district, but because of redistricting, my new district now only leans Democratic by one percent.
That’s a BIG problem when Democrats historically turn out in smaller numbers during the midterms. That’s why I’m relying on the grassroots support of folks like you to help PROTECT our House majority and KEEP this seat blue.
Will you chip in now to support my frontline race?
I’m not in politics for the fame or power — I’m working to make life better for everyone. As Mayor of Phoenix, I led bipartisan efforts to expand public transportation, defend LGBT equality, and support small businesses — while overseeing the highest wage growth in the country at the time.
In Congress, I’ve secured billions of dollars to invest in Arizona’s infrastructure, helped expand and support our tourism industry and local economy, and passed COVID-19 relief in the darkest days of the pandemic. I’ve worked across the aisle when it made sense — and stood up for Arizonans always.
With my new district lines, I’m in the toughest race I’ve ever been in. I’m not the only one ringing the alarm: Democrats just added me to their list of frontline candidates, which means holding my seat could make or break our House majority.
With the RNC gunning for the seat, every dollar makes a BIG difference in a race as competitive as this one. That’s why I have to ask: can you chip in now?
Thanks for your time,
— Greg
