Join us for “Allies Coming Together” a special online event with filmmaker Matthew A. Cherry to celebrate his Oscar-winning short film Hair Love on Feb. 24 at 9AM PT/11AM CT/12PM ET. Mr. Cherry is a writer, director, producer and former NFL wide receiver.
This virtual event is designed for 4th-12th graders who want to build more equitable and inclusive spaces. Students, educators, parents and families will have the opportunity to view the film Hair Love, followed by a dialogue between students from ADL’s No Place for Hate coalition and Mr. Cherry.
An approved No Place for Hate activity will be shared with participating schools after the event to extend and inspire more change-making.
