Our Heartbeat Bill continues to save countless innocent lives. New data shows that abortions in Texas fell by nearly 60% after the Heartbeat Bill took effect! [[link removed]]
Since I have been Lt. Governor, the Texas Senate has passed the strongest pro-life legislation in history. This past session, I prioritized the Heartbeat Bill to ban abortion after a heartbeat is detected. Our bill is saving babies’ lives and a majority of Texans support it.
This bill is a huge victory for life and demonstrates our commitment to protecting Texas' most vulnerable — the unborn. Texans are pro-life and proud of it.
I am grateful for every precious life these laws are saving. As long as I am Lt. Governor, the right to life will always be protected in the Lone Star State.
