The reason that Donald was having issues with his toilets not flushing is because he had a nasty habit of shoving official documents down the drain and clogging White House toilets. We feel terrible for the White House plumbers who had to deal with these disgusting tantrums through the four years of the administration, but we feel even worse for our democracy.
Now we know that from 2016 to 2020, tens, potentially hundreds of government documents were lost to the swirl of a toilet bowl. This is unacceptable, and thankfully, we now have a president in power who will defend our institutions, transparency, and our toilets.
But with the Treason Caucus still in power, there's no guarantee that we won't get another toilet flushing traitor in the White House and that future criminals will be held accountable.
