John,

Many of you may remember Rep. Josh Gottheimer as one of the few Democrats who tried to block President Biden’s Build Back Better agenda. Or maybe you remember him as the “Democrat” who voted with Trump more than any other member of the party.

Either way, what you really need to know is that last year, Rep. Gottheimer banded together with Rep. Hakeem Jeffries to create a corporate-backed PAC called Team Blue, with the sole mission of preserving Rep. Gottheimer’s Blue Dog ideology by attacking progressive campaigns like ours.

Today, they announced their first slate of endorsements. And guess who made the top of their list?

That’s right — Rep. Donald Payne Jr.

Corporate Democrats have declared war on our movement, John, and we need to fight back. Click here to rush a $27 donation and help us show these politicians the power of our progressive movement. [[link removed]]

This is just the beginning. Between the sexist attacks from New Jersey’s corrupt political machine and the tens of thousands in corporate money pouring into his campaign, Rep. Payne Jr. is gearing up for a real fight.

But this is a fight we can win, John. If they didn’t see our movement as a threat, they wouldn’t be trying so hard to stop us. So today, I’m asking you to help me fight back against their sexist attacks, their corporate sponsors, and their dirty tricks. If you’re with me, click here to rush a $27 donation now. Thank you for being a part of our progressive movement.

— Imani
