"Change is hard, the progress can feel slow, and winning sometimes means losing better." - Stacey Abrams.

Firstly, thank you. All of you.

As I reflect on the last four months, I will forever cherish every door knock, phone call, canvass we did together.

As I told supporters in Chinatown last night, this campaign was about change.

Together, we mobilized hundreds of new supporters. We advocated for bold new ideas to address homelessness and climate change. We earned endorsements from YIMBY Action to the San Francisco Chronicle.

We went from 0% to 21% voter share.

All in four months.

While the final vote yesterday isn't what we hoped for, this was an incredible statement. A statement that even going up against the most powerful politicians in San Francisco, voters wanted more. A statement that our city wants outcomes and progress. A statement that change is possible. But it will take time.

So this is just the start of our movement. You, your values, your passion remain. We are now a political force hundreds of people strong, that will change San Francisco in the years to come.

The fight against inequality, climate change, and AAPI hate continues. The movement for outcomes driven governance is just beginning.
And we will be back.
