The Shock Market is a tool we created with our gun violence prevention partners to keep track of gun deaths under the Biden Administration and shock them to action. Every day this tool is updated with the most recent gun violence statistics.

Gun deaths have steadily increased over the past year and yet President Biden has failed to take tangible action. We know that Congress is incapable of making legislative progress on gun reform, so we need the President to act now.

Thanks to supporters like you, we made sure that our message would not be ignored by our elected officials. Yesterday, we had MFOL members in D.C., along with a mobile billboard, in front of the White House and U.S. Capitol so that the Biden Administration and Congress would have no choice but to face the shocking number of gun deaths in 2021 alone.

We will not accept thoughts and prayers from the elected officials that promised they would act to save lives. In 2018, just after the shooting at my high school, President Biden met with me and other survivors and called out the inaction of politicians on this issue. When we co-hosted a Presidential gun safety forum in 2019, he looked March For Our Lives activists and survivors in the eyes and promised to be bold in the fight to end gun violence if elected. We’re demanding that President Biden make good on that promise by creating a national plan to address this epidemic.
