** We are coming to the end of another incredible, life-changing, challenging and, at times, brutal year at SFDP.

We want to give you, our supporters, heads up that we will soon be launching our fourth annual campaign to support the work that our staff is doing in communities and detention centers across New Mexico, West Texas, and, really, the entire United States. Over the coming month we are excited to share with you stories from the year about what your support of SFDP has made possible: a father beating his deportation case to stay in Santa Fe with his young children; over 150 trans asylum seekers who left prison to be met with community powered, trauma informed hospitality at our release apartment in ABQ; a rural legal clinic that has helped to change the way a small community reports domestic violence; new citizens exercising their right to vote; or a legal service project working to collectively unravel the life-destroying practices of the El Paso detention centers and immigration courts.
Your contribution to our annual campaign allows us to be responsive as possible to the Trump Administration's near daily attacks on our immigrant and refugee populations and the policies our country has in place to protect their safety, their liberty, their family unity, and the opportunities they came here to pursue. We hope that you see, as we do, that your donation to SFDP isn't simply about money, it is about adding your voice to the growing chorus of Americans who are willing to stand up and resist our government's actions and protect the sanctity of immigrant and refugee lives in the United States. We are so looking forward to sharing what YOU have accomplished this year using that voice and we humbly ask that you consider our organization when you plan your holiday giving.
