Operation Lone Star is an exercise in political showboating, says the new republic

→ “Operation Lone Star” is supposed to help curb illegal immigration and illegal drug trade, but like everything Abbott does, it’s only caused more CHAOS.

It’s been criticized for FUELING RACISM.

And it’s even harming service members who are leading the operation, who face poor living and working conditions, and pay delays.

→ At best, it’s a thinly-veiled attempt to court FAR-RIGHT EXTREMISTS and SILENCE DEMOCRATS.
