John,

This November, we need to elect Democrats up and down the ballot all across Maine. A bunch of ads on TV and Facebook right before the election are not going to work. We need to organize our supporters now.

Through the Evergreen Project, we’re going to do that by showing up in communities across the state to talk with voters, collect signatures to get Democrats on the ballot, and get people registered to vote. But first, we need your help.

The key to winning this election is reaching voters across the state. Will you invest in our Field team with a contribution of $5, $10, $20.22, $50, or whatever you can to ensure we have the resources needed to continue organizing across Maine? [link removed]

It boils down to this, John: a lot is at stake in November. Governor Janet Mills and Maine Democrats have worked hard to protect Mainers' civil rights, make healthcare more affordable and accessible, and reinvest in our economy to create good-paying jobs. But Paul LePage is promising to tear it all down and take us back to an era where corruption and partisan politics rule supreme.

But if we’re going to win this thing, we need all hands on deck. And that starts with ensuring that our field organizers and volunteers are ready and able to work in communities throughout Maine and talk with our neighbors about the importance of this election. So that’s why we’re asking:

Will you chip in $5, $10, $20.22, $50, or whatever works best for you? It’s going to help us expand the Evergreen Project, hire more field organizers, and pay for voter-outreach tools. [link removed]

Thank you,

Izzy Zox
