There’s a battle brewing in the Lone Star State: NARAL members are mobilizing to get the vote out for reproductive freedom champion Jessica Cisneros who is challenging anti-choice Rep. Henry Cuellar.

Cuellar is the last anti-choice Democrat in the U.S. House of Representatives and the only Democrat in the House to vote against the Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA)—a bill that would safeguard the legal right to abortion throughout our country.

Their primary election will be held on March 1—less than three weeks from now—so we’re pulling out all the stops to help elect Cisneros and defeat Cuellar.

Now more than ever, we need champions like Jessica Cisneros in Congress who will fight for our fundamental rights so we can realize a future where reproductive freedom is truly for every body.
