The fact is, campaigns are being won and lost online these days, especially on Facebook. Whatever you think of Mark Zuckerberg and his “Metaverse,” for better or worse, it’s become the dominant platform for American political engagement, especially among the rural and swing voters we’re trying to reach.  

The more “likes” and follows we have, the more likely it is that Facebook will make our posts visible in people’s news feeds.

By “liking” and following our page, you help boost us in the algorithm rankings and make it easier for us to reach voters with the truth.  And by taking the next step and marking us a “favorite” in your follow settings, you ensure that our posts show up in your feed, which makes it easier for you to respond to them and share them (which is another powerful way you can help us with our mission!).

Here's how, in three easy steps:

1.Click the follow button.

2. Now it says "Following." Click it again.

3. Select "Favorites."

See?  It's easy to do ... and yet, it's a POWERFUL way to help us out.

The fact is, we have become a target for the Radical Right online because we’re showing up on what they consider “their” turf (rural America) and pushing back against their lies and threats. 

Not only do they flood our comment boxes with trolls spewing misinformation and hate, they’ve targeted our YouTube and social media channels with false reports trying to get us taken down. 

Unfortunately, it’s had a noticeable negative impact on our reach.

The good news is, it’s easy for you to help us fix the problem -- the more friendly followers we have, the easier it is for us to fight back against right-wing attacks, and the harder it is for them to successfully file false reports.

Without getting too technical, it’s all about the algorithms, and the single most helpful thing you can do right now to help us take our social media reach to the next level is to “like” and follow No Dem Left Behind on Facebook and mark us as one of your “Favorites.”

If everyone reading this email took just a few seconds to click over to Facebook and do that, we’d have almost 30 TIMES more influence on the platform than we do right now.
