We’re putting reform directly on the ballot.

Ground Game Texas

Friend,

Last week, police in Minneapolis shot and killed Amir Locke after conducting a “No-Knock” raid in a downtown apartment building. Locke had no criminal record and wasn’t the target of the warrant, but was shot only seconds after police entered his apartment. In 2020, police in Louisville killed Breonna Taylor in the same type of raid, sparking outrage across the nation. But we still haven’t seen reform.

“No-knock” raids are a dangerous practice that have taken far too many innocent lives. That’s why Ground Game Texas is working to ban “No-Knock” warrants in Texas—and we’ve already had major success. In fact, Ground Game Texas successfully secured an initiative on the May ballot to ban No-Knock warrants in Austin.

Can you pitch in to support our organizers working to ban “No-Knock” warrants in Texas? Together we can end this dangerous practice and save lives.

Help us ban "No-Knock" warrants in Texas

Friend, Ground Game Texas isn’t waiting for Washington to act or corrupt politicians to show courage on this issue. 75% of Texans support banning No-Knock warrants—but Greg Abbott and Texas Republicans won’t lift a finger to change the system.

While politicians play games with the issue of police reform, our organizers are working around the clock to put police reform directly on the ballot for voters to decide. We’re fighting for progressive change at the local level—and we’re registering and mobilizing thousands of voters in the process.

If you want to see progressive change across Texas, join us. Pitch in to support our efforts to ban No-Knock warrants in Texas.

Thank you for being in this fight,

-Mike
