Here's a little crash course on sedition, John.

Because some members of the Treason Caucus just don't seem to get it.

The act of seditious conspiracy is defined by the federal code as two or more people conspiring to overthrow or destroy by force the United States government.

Leaders of the Oath Keepers, a made-up militia of sad little men in tactical costumes stormed the halls of the Capitol on January 6. Now they're facing charges of seditious conspiracy (and they're pleading not guilty). Let's review some of the actions these "brave defenders" took:

• Organized and extensively planned a violent attack to overthrow the results of a free and fair election. A "bloody war" and "revolution" was mentioned in their extensive messages planning January 6.
• Purchased tens of thousands of dollars in weapons and donned full combat and tactical gear to attend the advertised "peaceful" protest.
• Tried to push their way through a line of Capitol police officers in a coordinated effort to breach the Senate chamber and terrorize our elected officials into overturning the election results.

These aren't the actions of men who were “bravely defending our democracy." These are the crimes of a seditious militant terrorist group who tried to destroy the government of the United States. We know it, the Justice Department knows it, and it's high time the Oath Keepers recognized that they are nothing but traitors.

Unfortunately, members of the Treason Caucus are still defending these seditionists. If they won't condemn these criminals, it's time for them to go. Will you chip in now to help us defeat them in November?

Of the more than 700 people charged with crimes related to the insurrection, and so far, the charge of seditious conspiracy is the most serious. But as the Justice Department is focusing on the treasonous Oath Keepers, we need to focus on defeating the Treason Caucus to prevent another insurrection.
