That’s our average contribution so far here in the month of February. That’s a number that Ed and our entire team are extremely proud of — it represents the fact that our campaign is funded by dedicated donors chipping in $5, $16, or $25 at a time, and that grassroots support is the backbone of everything that we do.

We understand it may not seem like the kind of money that can fight back against our progressive movement’s opponents in the fossil fuel lobby or right-wing super PACs. They have deep pockets, and they know how to use them.

But the truth is that when thousands and thousands of people all across the country come together and chip in, it all adds up. And it means we have to ask:

February can be a tough time for online fundraising. The shorter month means we have even less time to hit our goals, and that we need to start strong here in the beginning of the month to make sure we aren’t playing catch-up at the end.

Grassroots support from people like you is what powered our campaign to victory in 2020, and it’s the only way we’ll fund our efforts here in 2022 to continue growing our movement and building energy for our progressive agenda.
