We have had quite the year so far, and yet 2022 is just kicking off. 

We wanted to focus on a few things that have already happened leading into the most contentious midterms of our lives.

First: The Republicans showed us their cards early. We knew what their strategy was all along, but they said it out loud -- the most obnoxious and loudest of them all, Ted Cruz, said in an interview that if they retake power, they are going to impeach President Biden.

Why? On what grounds? That's not important to them! They simply want revenge and will stop at nothing to get it. 

But wait, there's more: On the House side, Kevin McCarthy hinted – or more like declared – that if they take over, they will oust Adam Schiff and other Democrats from committees while giving chair positions to the most radical and deranged amongst their ranks … meaning Marjorie “Traitor” Greene and Lauren ”Breitbart” Boebert. 

Again, this is not about anything but revenge. 

I wish that was it, but there's still more! The Republicans, under the “leadership” of Moscow Mitch McConnell, also vowed that if they take over, they will roll back all of President Biden's foreign policy accomplishments, including rejoining the Paris Climate accord and ending America's longest war. No doubt, they’ll want to back their favorite dictator Vladimir Putin, too, if and when he invades Ukraine or tries to revive the Soviet Union.

Look, the difference between what we Democrats want for our country and the world and what the GQP wants could not be greater. 

The American people, even the ones that identify as Independents, mostly align with our vision of what America should be. What it comes down to is this: Who can reach more people, and who can better deliver the message?
