This year, reaching our fundraising goals will be critical if we want to defend my seat and hold on to our razor-thin Democratic majority in Congress, so I’m incredibly grateful to you and every supporter in our grassroots movement for stepping up.
We recently learned that our district has expanded to include areas where Trump won big in 2020, so we’re now anticipating our race will become more competitive as the midterm elections draw closer and more opponents enter the race.
John, we’ve overcome the odds before, and I know we have what it takes to succeed again.
I’m honored this grassroots movement is fighting with me every step of the way as I build upon my work last year of passing once-in-a-generation legislation that will repair our roads and bridges while creating millions of good-paying jobs. I’m still fighting to protect the right to vote, pass Build Back Better in the Senate, and expand the Supreme Court to ensure reproductive freedom.
My work in Congress is just getting started, so I look forward to coming together to defend my seat in November.
