We wanted to share two updates with you today.
First, the endorsement vote results are in! Congratulations to all the candidates on winning the support of BYD's membership, which is among the most vibrant and diverse political organizations in the borough.

51st AD District Leaders — Julio Peña III and Jacqui Painter
57th AD Female District Leader — Shaquana Boykin
Second, as we consider future endorsements, we want to include the input of our membership. Please fill out this form as soon as possible so that we know where our members stand on endorsements in the 2022 cycle.
Thank you so much, again, for your continued involvement with BYD! We hope to see you next month at our February meeting, which will include an election for BYD's Executive Board. The location is still to be determined, but see below for details on how to run for Executive Board!
We're also excited to announce the date of February general body meeting, which will include elections for all elected club offices. This will take place on February 23, from 7 to 9 PM.
In order to run for the Brooklyn Young Democrats Executive Board you must (1) be a dues paying member and (2) in good-standing, meaning that you attended at least 3 BYD meetings or co-sponsored events in the calendar past year. Please complete this application no later than Wednesday, February 8, 2022 at 9pm. All responses will be made public.
