It seems like every week new information about the attack comes to light – and this past week's revelation is truly horrifying. The January 6 select panel released a never-issued executive order from Donald Trump that ordered the secretary of defense to seize voting machines.
No doubt the Treason Caucus would have supported this order, and we can't give them the opportunity to destabilize our democracy by taking control of Congress in November. Chip in $5 today to help us hold the Treason Caucus accountable for attacking our democracy and unseat them.
Though the executive order was never issued, the fact that it was even suggested to use force to seize the votes of the American people and effectively halt the election gives us an insight into the sinister machinations of the Trump administration.
What's worse is that the order was drafted on December 16, 2020, almost a full month before the insurrectionists stormed the Capitol and five Capitol officers ended up dead.
The coup on January 6 was no accident; it was a planned and calculated attack on our democracy by the disgraced former President and the fascist members of the Treason Caucus. Donald Trump may no longer be in power, but as more evidence of the treason he perpetrated comes to light, those who followed his lead must be held accountable.
