Monday at midnight is my first end-of-month deadline of the 2022 election year, and the stakes are high.

With Texas Republicans continuing to push voter suppression and shred women’s rights, it’s no exaggeration to say that our democracy itself is on the ballot this year. A Republican State Senator even admitted that they purposely violated the voting rights of Hispanic and black Texans with their redistricting plans.
