Let’s be honest, folks,

Sen. Mitch McConnell’s fundraising momentum is just as much of a threat to our democracy as Senator Kennedy.

1. Republican state legislatures in 19 states passed voter suppression bills across the nation, yet Kennedy and McConnell haven't done anything but defend these egregious laws in Congress.
2. McConnell refuses to denounce or distance himself from party extremists like Sen. Kennedy who push election lies or who call for unnecessary, wasteful ballot audits.
3. McConnell and Kennedy fought to block historic voting rights legislation such as the John Lewis Voting Rights bill.

Here’s the bigger problem: Corporate donors and special interests are pumping millions into Kennedy and McConnell’s massive campaign war chests. If we don’t step up now, we’ll never catch up to them and stop their attacks on our democracy.
