John— January has been a month full of reflection for us here at Giffords. At the beginning of the month, we marked the tragic anniversaries of the Capitol Insurrection and of Gabby’s shooting. This week, we remembered when Gabby launched her first campaign for Congress in 2006—and when she submitted her resignation six years and one day later, in order to focus on her recovery. While we’ve honored these memories, we’ve also stepped up our fight against gun violence. Gun deaths have skyrocketed in recent years, a devastating trend that shows no sign of slowing down. As we approach the end of the month, I’m here with a special request for your support.
