The United States hit a 7% increase in consumer prices in December 2021, marking the highest inflation rate since 1982.

This kind of increase in the price of everything from food to energy drastically shortens the lengths a paycheck can be stretched to, making the lives of low and middle income families that much harder.

STOP RUNAWAY SPENDING

The causes of inflation aren’t hard to identify: take a supply chain crisis exacerbated by Democrats paying workers to stay home, add the federal government pumping billions of dollars into the economy, and you get the mismatch of supply and demand that leads to consumer costs going through the roof.

But have Democrats learned their lesson and resolved to stop inflation and end the terrible consequences of soaring consumer prices? Of course not.

Instead, Democrats are trying to spend even more, certainly making the problem worse.

We need to end Democrats’ unified control of Washington. As long as they’re in power, they will continue to try and force through policies that would only make our current crises worse. Will you contribute now and help us take back Congress in November?
