Today, I’m beyond fed up with the negative news media and their cynical attempts to boost ratings at any cost.
All I have been seeing all day long is “breaking news” about how our troops have been given alerts for possible deployment in Eastern Europe.
The media is trying to make it seem like it is a done deal and we are headed to full-scale war with Russia, when that is the furthest thing from the truth!
President Biden has been locked in the situation room for days meeting with our European allies to develop a diplomatic strategy to deal with Vladimir Putin and Russia.
President Biden is not meeting with his joint chief of staff, Secretary of Defense, and other military leaders. He is not meeting with Congressional leadership, whose permission he would need if we were going to war.
President Biden is locked in there with the Secretary of State because he is going to get us out of this diplomatically .
Who do you trust more in this situation, Donald Trump or President Biden?
What President Biden is doing is exactly what he should be doing, showing strength in numbers while working this out diplomatically.
Yes, I know, there are no diplomatic solutions with Putin, he is not to be trusted. Well guess what? No one trusts him. And since it’s damned near impossible to win a war without allies, it would be really stupid for Putin to start a war he knows he can’t win.
Vladimir Putin is not going to like the ramifications headed his way for his actions. Putin is a bully. We know that he is trying to strong-arm Ukraine because they can't stand up to him. But the United States is not Ukraine, and while we will not be going to war, that does not mean we won't have Ukraine’s back.
President Biden has at his disposal the whole worlds’ financial institutions, and with one Presidential executive order, President Biden can sign sanctions powerful enough to collapse the Russian economy and send Moscow into an economic freefall they might never recover from.
But President Biden also understands that bankrupting Russia would have a Tsunami-like economic impact large enough that economists say it’s impossible to predict who would be impacted and just how far it would go. I promise you that all of these factors and more are being discussed and analyzed in real time in the situation room.
This is what I want everyone to take from this email: Trust our President. With all his years of experience, no one is better equipped to deal with this situation than President Biden.
