This race is getting tougher – I’m facing 9 radical Republican opponents who want nothing more than to flip Nevada red and roll back the progress we’ve made.

But right now, I’m not worried about who I’m up against – I’m focusing on what I’m fighting for.

I’m fighting to hold on to all of the progress we’ve made over the years in Battleground Nevada – will you read about the important work we’ve been doing and chip in $5 to my end-of-month fundraising goal?

I’ve always said that Nevada is a place of opportunity. Putting down roots in Las Vegas as a single dad gave me the opportunity to start my own business, provide for my two daughters, and create the life I dreamed of for our family.

As Governor, I’ve been committed to making sure every person in Nevada has access to the opportunities they need to succeed. Together, we’ve fought for Nevadans by:

• Increasing the minimum wage and opening collective bargaining for state workers
  
  
• Raising teacher pay and implementing a new school funding formula to ensure equitable education for every child
  
  
• Defending reproductive freedom and investing in family planning services
  
  
• Raising clean energy standards to combat climate change and boost our economy
  
  
• Passing a public health insurance option and ensuring more Nevadans have access to health care

I’m proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish, but we can’t stop there.
