Rubio’s Reproductive Rights Record – and what you can do about it
Retire Rubio

John,

Today is the anniversary of the landmark Supreme Court case, Roe v. Wade.

Decades later, the Supreme Court is deliberating on Dobbs vs. Jackson Women's Health, which will decide the constitutionality of a Mississippi law that bans abortions under 15 weeks and could ultimately overturn Roe. Moreover, it sets the precedent for reproductive freedom cases from across the country to be challenged.

If this happens, women across the country – especially women who have historically been disenfranchised and underserved – will face even more obstacles when accessing critical health care. Where’s Senator Marco Rubio stand?

  • He readily works to defund Planned Parenthood – an organization that millions rely on for health care like cancer screenings, STI tests, and reproductive health.
  • This one made us do a double-take: he voted in favor of a dystopian law that would require single mothers to publish their intimate partner history in local newspapers. Read that again.
  • He’s not working for his constituents: he announced proudly that he’d ban ALL abortions - no exceptions - even if “100%” of his constituents were pro-choice.

This coordinated effort to overturn Roe at the highest court in the country – the Supreme Court – is an unprecedented attack on women's rights that would revert the U.S. to the level of reproductive freedom that existed before 1973. Join Retire Rubio in standing up and fighting back: sign the petition and protect reproductive freedom.
