I’m proud of my legislation to ban members of Congress from buying, selling, or trading individual stocks while they serve in Congress. My efforts are gaining momentum as our bipartisan legislation gains more co-sponsors and endorsements each day! Take a look at this excerpt from a recent Washington Post column:

The time is now to demonstrate to the American people that we are working for them – not our own financial interests – and are willing to place restrictions on ourselves to both affirm that we are deserving of their trust and remove even the possible perception of impropriety.
