The bill Democrats are considering huge institutional changes to pass would federalize our elections, taking states’ powers to set their own election rules and moving it to the federal government. We have to stop this. Sign our petition to send the message to Washington that North Dakota should oversee North Dakota’s elections, and not the federal government. More and more, Democrats are showing the American people that they believe in a bigger, expanded government. They seem to genuinely believe that all governance should be done at the national level. That’s just not how America works. We have a federal system - states have sovereignty over most functions of government, with the federal government having only a few core powers. By signing our petition, you’re telling the Senate that we won’t stand for having North Dakota’s sovereign right to set election laws confiscated. Will you make your voice heard?
