And then there’s today's Treason Caucus Spotlight, Matt Gaetz. Ever since being elected to the House in 2017, he has made a name for himself as one of the most dangerous and radical Republicans.

In an interview with Former Trump Administration Chief Strategist Steve Bannon on the one-year anniversary of January 6, Gaetz sat down with fellow Treason Caucus member Marjorie Taylor Greene in discussing their roles in the coup, where they both stated to reporters, "We're ashamed of nothing!"

Furthermore, Matt Gaetz has unashamedly attacked our democracy:

>He voted and encouraged his fellow members of Congress to overturn the results of a free and fair election.

>Asked the Trump administration for a preemptive pardon of any crimes he may have committed. He is actually currently embroiled in a federal sex trafficking investigation where he maintains innocence, but frankly, innocent people don’t ask for a preemptive pardon.

>And he has pedaled conspiracy theories about January 6 since day one, being one of the strongest supporters of the lie that the federal government was behind the insurrection and supporting known groups that organized the insurrection.

Not only do these people continue to attack our democracy with every day they spend in office, they do so proudly. Speaking at an event held at Trump Miami Doral and sponsored by some of the same traitorous groups that organized the rallies at the Trump White House before January 6, he said: "I'm built for the battle, and I'm not going anywhere."
