Governor Wolf recently vetoed HB 1332 — a pseudo-transparency bill targeting school curricula — after Republicans used their majority to push it through the Pennsylvania Senate.

Thankfully, this attempt at projecting false right-wing narratives onto our schools didn’t get signed into law. But if we don’t hold the line for Dems across Pennsylvania in 2022, the future of our state’s public education will be in jeopardy.

Even though HB 1332 wasn’t enacted, the GOP inflamed a culture war against our schools, our teachers, and our education boards that will follow us into this election season. We have to do everything we can to make sure we have a strong defense against these mounting attacks.
