Hi,

High prescription drug costs are a national emergency. Americans pay more for prescription drugs than anywhere else in the world. This is dangerous, and it's threatening the lives of patients in every community across the country.

That's why the House is working to pass H.R. 3, the Lower Drug Costs Now Act of 2019, which allows Medicare to directly negotiate with drug companies and make the results publicly available to all Americans. This would spur negotiation and competition to get the best price for YOU and your family.

The American people are in desperate need of relief from skyrocketing costs. Too many families are struggling to afford their medications, while Big Pharmaceutical corporations are raking in millions of dollars in profits.

Will you join me in urging my colleagues in Congress to immediately pass legislation to lower the cost of prescription drugs?

Thanks for speaking out,

-- David
