Brian Sims for State Representative

Nearly a year after he participated in the deadly January 6th insurrection, a new opponent just announced they’re running against me for Pennsylvania’s next Lieutenant Governor.

My new opponent crossed police barricades, and later mocked Capitol police officers for testifying to the danger they faced that fateful day. And while 64 Pennsylvanians have been arrested for rioting at the Capitol, my opponent and their anti-democracy views do not represent the Commonwealth.

The Pennsylvania GOP has tried to stifle your voice time and again through gerrymandering and attempts to throw out the 2020 election results. At every turn, Democrats stood fast to defend your vote and make progress on the issues that folks care about — like expanding affordable health care, creating good-paying jobs, and building great public schools.

With Republicans like my opponent in office, our fight to defend voting rights, gain equality and civil justice, and put Pennsylvanians first will get that much harder, John.

With a new opponent, this race is heating up. Will you rush $10 — or what works for your budget — right now to help support my campaign?

Pennsylvanians deserve a Lieutenant Governor who is dedicated to creating a better and more equitable Commonwealth for all of us — not a leader who attacks police officers, sows doubt in our democracy, and believes Trump won the 2020 election.

If you believe in our fight to prioritize people and problem-solving over politics, can you rush anything right now to help out?

I’m ready to fight and I’m happy you’re on my side,

Brian
