Friend, Greg Abbott is terrified of the politics of marijuana.

For years, Governor Abbott has been against legalizing marijuana. But as Ground Game Texas works to put marijuana reforms on the ballot across the state, our governor signaled this week that he may be open to reforms.

Even Abbott understands that marijuana reforms will bring out voters—voters who won’t support his dangerous right-wing agenda. So he’s softening his position. That means we can’t let off the gas—NOW is the time we need to put this issue in front of voters.

We’re launching marijuana reform campaigns in community after community—but we need your help to get out the vote. Can you pitch in $25 to help us legalize marijuana in Texas? [[link removed]]

LEGALIZE IT! [[link removed]]

Friend, just this week we secured a ballot initiative in Austin to decriminalize marijuana possession. Austin voters will soon get to vote to end the criminalization and over-incarceration of marijuana in their community. That’s a big deal.

Now we are working to put similar reforms on the ballot in communities like Killeen—and we plan to launch more campaigns throughout the year. But these fights require resources, so we’re counting on supporters like you to help us get the word out.

If you’re ready to legalize marijuana in Texas, consider chipping in $25 today. Every contribution helps us hire organizers and fight for progressive change. [[link removed]]

Thank you for all your support,
