Let’s use our voices to advocate for change.

NARAL Pro-Choice America | Freedom is for EVERY body

John,

It’s no coincidence that the same state legislators who support extreme bans on reproductive freedom and abortion access are also the ones attacking our voting rights.

Anti-choice leaders know they can’t win on the merits of their unpopular policies, so they attack the right to vote itself by creating barriers to accessing the ballot box—all of which disproportionately rip away the freedom to vote from Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian American and Pacific Islanders, and all people of color.

Reproductive freedom and the freedom to vote are deeply intertwined.

That's why NARAL Pro-Choice America is joining with our partners and voters across the country over the long weekend honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to act and make sure our voices and votes are heard. We will gather together (safely) to urge the U.S. Senate to do whatever it takes to enact laws protecting the right to vote and free and fair elections.

Time is running out to pass the Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act to ensure new standards are in place for 2022 midterm elections. Will you join us, John?

Fighting for the right to vote has never been more crucial or more urgent. Join us at the DC Peace Walk on Monday, January 17 at 9:45 a.m. to demand that the Senate protect the freedom to vote for every body.

The Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act would protect the freedom to vote, end dark money, stop partisan gerrymandering, and protect our elections from partisan sabotage. We need your support to turn these bills into law.

One of the most important things Dr. King taught us is that progress isn’t inevitable. We must always fight for freedom. Join us on Monday, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, for the DC Peace Walk as we fight to defend our freedom to vote.

In this pivotal moment, we cannot allow any barriers or roadblocks to stand in the way of safeguarding our fundamental freedoms, including the freedom to vote and the freedom to decide if, when, and how to raise a family.

Thank you.
