We've seen the videos, we've read the Parler messages, and we've learned of more than 725 arrests of the Capitol insurrectionists. Yet, to this day, there are still people in power who are trying to convince everyone that Trump supporters weren't even involved in the January 6 insurrection.

There are a lot of conspiracy theories that Antifa was at the helm of the Capitol insurrection, aided by some shady federal agents. These rumors have been spread by members of the treason caucus like Matt Gaetz, Paul Gosar, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and many more. Here's what we know: this is a lie.

Another thing we know is that these "alternative facts" are dangerous and shift blame away from the Republicans that allowed the violence to occur on January 6, 2021. Whether it be convincing people that the insurrection was nothing but a peaceful demonstration of love or denying its existence outright, there are elected officials fighting at every stop to hide the truth.

We must stand up for the truth and hold the Treason Caucus accountable for the role they played in the coup.
