On Tuesday, local elections were held in towns and cities all across North Carolina. And all across NC, progressive, pro-choice women trained by Lillian's List ran strong campaigns to represent their communities and neighbors. We're proud to share that seven of our trainees from 2018-2019 were elected on Tuesday: Rani Dasi, Cheryl Stallings, Donna Fender, Renee Garner, Jennifer De La Jara, Amy Ryan, and Victoria Watlington.

 

 

 

Remarkably, these women won races in both large, metropolitan cities like Charlotte and smaller, growing communities like Morrisville and Matthews. We know they will be tireless advocates for the women and families in their communities, and are excited to continue to follow their journeys in the years to come.
