John,
Did you know that Paul LePage registered to vote in Florida in 2019? You read that right: three years ago this week, Paul LePage took his taxpayer-funded pension and ran down to Florida where he registered to vote the same day Governor Janet Mills was sworn in.
After years of divisive rhetoric and lacking leadership, it’s no surprise that LePage wanted to get out of Maine. But now, after fleeing Maine for Florida, LePage wants to be governor again.
With your help, we can prevent a third term of Paul LePage.
We can’t risk more setbacks under LePage. Can you match your previous contribution of $5, or whatever you can spare, to help elect Maine Democrats and keep our state on track? [link removed]
Under Governor Janet Mills, our state has seen Medicaid expanded, our public education system funded, and our rainy day fund increased to nearly a half billion dollars. At such a critical time, we can’t let LePage drag us back into a corrupt and divisive era.
With you by our side, we can elect Mainers who will stick around and fight for our state. Let’s convince Paul LePage that he’s better off in Florida and Maine is better off without him:
In the past you contributed $5, could you match that or give whatever you can today to ensure Maine Democrats have the resources they need to win races up and down the ballot and continue building on our progress. [link removed]
Thank you,
Maine Dems
