A year ago today, a pro-Trump mob stormed the Capitol. This anniversary is a very painful reminder of how close our country came to disaster. And, even after ALL that, Republicans STILL stand by the insurrectionists and their leader, Donald Trump.

So here's my silver lining: our House majority has prevented insurrectionists from taking control of Congress. It's a crucial stronghold in the fight for our democracy.
