Today marks one year since a violent mob stormed the Capitol to stop the peaceful transfer of power, injuring more than 140 police officers and leaving five dead— all because their elected leaders lied to them.

Senator Kennedy spread a dangerous lie. He told millions of people that the result was rigged and voted to overturn a free, fair, and accurate election. On January 6th, Senator Kennedy chose lies over truth, party over country, and lawlessness and violence over law and order.

Months later, Sen. Kennedy VOTED AGAINST an independent, bipartisan January 6th commission and has since tried to dismiss the seriousness of the insurrection. Just yesterday he refused to acknowledge that the election was accurate and that his vote against democracy was a mistake.

Watching Senator Kennedy put self-service above public service was the final straw for Luke. That’s why he’s running to defeat him in November.
