Thank you for your incredible work last year.

In 2021, we improved the lives of Americans in transformative ways, and I’m proud of the victories I brought to Westchester, Rockland, and our nation due to your unwavering support.

Within my first few weeks in office, we went straight to work rebuilding our country after four years of shameful leadership in the White House.

Alongside my Democratic colleagues, I passed the American Rescue Plan — which ramped up vaccine efforts, sent survival checks to the American people, cut child poverty in half through the expanded Child Tax Credit, safely reopened our schools, and helped small businesses stay afloat.

I also helped pass the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act — the single largest investment in our nation’s infrastructure in history. Now we’ll see $1.2 trillion go towards repairing our roads, bridges, and public transit, creating new electric vehicle charging stations, and getting clean water to low-income communities.

For decades to come, the American people will see life-changing gains because of these historic bills.

Although we faced some obstacles last year, I remain hopeful for what’s to come for our grassroots movement and the Democratic Party.

Last fall, I played a leading role in getting the Build Back Better Act passed in the House. Due to Joe Manchin, this legislation is currently at a standstill in the Senate — but I will not stop working until my colleagues get it over the finish line for the American people.

We must continue delivering key victories to improve the lives of Americans, fight for critical democracy reforms, and protect our Democratic majority in Congress.

This work won’t be easy, but we’ve already had so many victories this past year, so I know we can do it together. John, I hope you’ll keep fighting alongside me as we build our country back better.
