Folks,

I love the month of January, a time of new beginnings and endless possibilities. It's a chance to reset and re-organize my priorities for the year ahead.

And this year especially, I’ll be holding onto the hope and optimism that this New Year represents. Because here is the truth:

In the United States in 2022 we’re still suffering from a global pandemic that is setting new daily records for caseloads.

Our broken food system is making us sicker and hurting our environment.

We have a criminal justice system that still incarcerates tens of thousands of people for marijuana convictions at the same time that marijuana investors are profiting in legal state-regulated markets.

Elected Republicans are still passing anti-voting laws at the state level, and our time to enshrine federal voting rights is running out.

And we’ve got the historical headwinds against us leading into the midterms.

We need to build the Senate majority and help House Democrats in New Jersey and across the country get elected so we can continue our work fighting for voting rights, climate action, affordable healthcare, gun reform, reproductive rights, and so much more.

With that in mind, I’d appreciate hearing from you directly about your priorities in 2022. There’s a full year of opportunities ahead of us and I want to ensure I’m directly hearing from as many of you as possible.

Can you spare a minute or two to take my January priorities survey? Your input is incredibly important to me.
