BIG NEWS: California Republican and longtime Trump henchman Devin Nunes has just RESIGNED from Congress!

That’s both bad and good news for all of us.

I’ll start with the bad news: Nunes is resigning to take a job as CEO of Trump’s newest scam business, “Trump Media & Technology Group.” 

That means Nunes, who you might remember as the point man for Trump’s efforts to avoid any investigation into his dealings with Russia, is getting a 24/7 platform to promote The Big Lie and other right-wing grifter staples like COVID misinformation and Culture Wars scaremongering.

Obviously, it’ll be up to folks like you and me to hold Devin Nunes accountable for the lies he sells through Trump Media and keep exposing the truth, and it’s not going to be easy.

There are at least 74 million people in this country with enough of an appetite for B.S. that they voted for Trump in 2020, and they’ll be prime marks for this grift, too.

Groups like No Dem Left Behind PAC will have to work overtime to counter their toxic messaging, especially in rural America, where Trumpism is sadly still rampant.

But there’s good news, too: Now there’s going to be a Special Election, giving voters a chance to replace Devin Nunes with a different Congress member -- hopefully one who will be loyal to the American people instead of Donald Trump.
