Dear John,

The Supreme Court of Virginia has finally completed the redistricting process. Virginia’s 5th Congressional District is now comprised of the following counties and cities:

Albemarle
Amelia
Amherst
Appomattox
Bedford (partial)
Buckingham
Campbell
Charlotte
Charlottesville City
Cumberland
Danville City
Fluvanna
Goochland
Halifax
Hanover (partial)
Louisa
Lunenburg
Lynchburg City
Mecklenburg
Nelson
Nottoway
Pittsylvania
Powhatan
Prince Edward

If you’re new to the 5th Congressional District, I want to personally welcome you. I look forward to meeting all of you very soon, as traveling the district and connecting with the people I serve has been a top priority for me. Those whom I’ve already had the privilege of representing know that I am willing to take the tough stands against Democrat policies infringing on our personal freedoms, bankrupting our nation, and undermining our families.

For my re-election, some moderate, GOP establishment candidates are already talking about a primary challenge ... and they will be well-funded!!!

This is before meeting a well-funded, radical, leftist Pelosi-backed Democrat in the general election race.

Democrats are seeing power slip away with the recent Republican victories in Virginia and other parts of the country, and are doubling down on their harmful policies. As they did in 2020, they will pour millions of dollars into the race to win this seat.

Speaker Pelosi and I are not friends. I have been fined for resisting her mask mandates on the House Floor, and I have been outspoken against these unconstitutional restrictions, including at local school board meetings. As a member of the House Education and Labor Committee I’ve been vocal on vaccine and mask mandates, CRT ideology and curriculum being taught, and transgender policies that are harmful to our children.

As a member of the House Budget Committee, I’m a spending hawk and have been working to stop taxpayer dollars from being wasted on Democrat efforts to grow the welfare state and fundamentally transform America into a socialist country. The Biden Administration is throwing away America’s financial future with poor fiscal policies leading to higher gas prices, higher grocery bills, and runaway inflation. Politicians run for office promising every special interest group a piece of the pie, and it’s got to stop.

I was honored to be elected by my conservative colleagues to the House Freedom Caucus Board as a freshman legislator, and I will continue to work within this caucus to fight the Biden Administration and ensure that the Republican Party holds true to its principles. We need to do what we say we will do, be who we say we are, and earn the right to lead.

Over the past year, I have made serving my constituents my top priority. There is no one who fights harder for conservative principles in Congress. I have authored 25 pieces of legislation and co-sponsored over 230 more to do everything from protecting parental rights in schools, to fighting illegal immigration, to ending vaccine mandates, to balancing the federal budget, to ensuring our elections are more secure.

With respect specifically to the 5th District, my team has provided our constituents with access to over 150 mobile office meetings which took place in every corner of the district. We have completed more than 1,500 cases to help Virginians cut through bureaucratic red tape with federal agencies like the IRS, Social Security Administration, and the Veterans Administration. And we have successfully helped recover $3.8 million that was rightfully owed to the citizens of the 5th District by their federal government, and responded in writing to more than 34,000 contacts and questions received by our office.

If given the privilege of continuing to serve as your representative in Washington, I will continue to work on the issues Virginians across the 5th District are telling me they care about most. Government mandates, our medical and personal freedoms, immigration and border security, crime and support for law enforcement, election integrity, spending and our national debt, our children’s education, the right to life, the Second Amendment, jobs and the economy, will all be on the ballot this year.

I am grateful to have already been endorsed for re-election by 5th District officials including:

With your help, I will continue to be a representative partnering with you in this fight to save America. You’re fighting the battle by working to elect conservatives at the local, state, and federal levels, and speaking to your friends and neighbors about what you believe and the issues that concern you. I won’t let you down or fail to represent the values of the people of this district. I appreciate hearing from you and receiving your feedback. ([link removed])

I am honored to serve the people of the 5th Congressional District of Virginia and I look forward to earning your nomination to continue to be your voice in the House of Representatives.
