Hi there,

I am so proud of this community.

While results are still coming in, I wanted to give you an update on some of the incredible wins from last night:

We flipped the ENTIRE Virginia General Assembly (both chambers!). EMILY's List women delivered the majority in the House of Delegates and helped deliver the majority in the state Senate. And Ghazala Hashmi (SD-10) became the first Muslim woman elected to the Virginia General Assembly in history.

Regina Romero was elected mayor of Tucson, Arizona. She is the first woman and first Latina to be elected mayor of Tucson. Now EMILY's List women run three major cities in Arizona -- Phoenix, Tucson, and Flagstaff.

For the first time in history, the Boston City Council is majority-women. That comes because of the incredible wins from Andrea Campbell, Lydia Edwards, Annissa Essaibi-George, Kim Janey, and Michelle Wu.

We re-elected a slate of incredible mayors -- from London Breed in San Francisco, CA, to Joyce Craig in Manchester, NH, to Emily Larson in Duluth, MN.

This is just the beginning. Democrats are fired up across the country. The momentum is on our side.

I am so proud of the candidates who stepped up to run, our partners who rallied around them, and the incredible volunteers who worked their hearts out to help them win.

These victories are your victories.

Become a monthly donor to help keep the momentum going and elect more women in 2020:
