We’ve always been straight with you and this is no different. Here’s where we’re focusing as the clock strikes midnight:

We’ve got a March primary in Texas – and after that, we can finally hold Greg Abbott to account for 20+ years in office. For a lot of Texans, the Abbott show is wearing thin.

There are multiple fights in the Senate that will likely decide the midterms. Crucially, Voting rights is not getting the attention and support it both needs and deserves. If the US Senate wanted to do anything that would single-handedly help preserve this democracy, it would be getting voting rights done as quickly as possible.

The American people need to hear that the 2022 election is about democracy.

All the other stuff doesn’t matter if we lose our democracy.

If Republicans take the House, they’ve already said it’ll be nothing but investigations that will make the Benghazi stuff look like child's play. There will be no second two years for a Joe Biden administration from a legislative agenda. It will be 100% spectacle, 100% Trump, and 100% score-settling by the members who were complicit in January 6th finally getting back at their political opponents. 

With the new year starting in mere hours, the battle is upon us.
