It's exciting news that experts believe we have a real shot at flipping Wisconsin. But I'm up against a GOP incumbent who has Donald Trump's full backing, so it's not going to be easy. And if the general election taught Democrats anything, it's that we definitely cannot leave anything up to chance.
So in order to remain competitive and send Ron Johnson packing, we've got to build the necessary infrastructure and demonstrate strong grassroots support right away.

If we can beat Ron Johnson for this Senate seat, we'll finally be able to deliver for the working families and the rural communities in our state that have been neglected.
That's why I was so thrilled to be endorsed by No Dem Left Behind. Because their goal that is specifically focused on elevating rural Democrats is exactly what Wisconsinites have been missing. And it's exactly what I'll fight for when I make it to the Senate.
But our Senate majority is extremely fragile right now. And if we're really going to prevent Republicans from gaining control in Washington, we can't just protect the majority, we need to EXPAND it.
