As we all know, representation of all Houstonians is key to generating trust and engaging the many communities that make Houston the most diverse city in the country. We are happy to share that the Latino community is growing stronger as a result of your support. 3 candidates we endorsed won their respective races last night!

Congratulations to:
* Chris Brown, Houston City Controller
* Robert Gallegos, District I, Houston City Council
* Judith Cruz, HISD Trustee, District VIII

You all played an important role in getting these candidates elected. Through your donations, block walking, phone banking, and general support, the Latino Texas PAC was able to ensure that our political representation reflects the diversity of our state and the growth of the Latino population.

This is just another step on the road to building a strong Latino community. We also have several of our endorsed candidates in a runoff election:
* Isabel Longoria, for District H, Houston City Council
* Sandra Rodríguez, for District J, Houston City Council
* Raj Salhotra, for At-Large 1, Houston City Council

We thank Michele Leal who ran a great campaign filled with passion, devotion, and a commitment to communities that often go unnoticed.

This means that our work is not over. Your support will be critical in pushing the campaigns that are now in a runoff now over the winning line.
