Hi there --

Last night, Democrats unseated GOP Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin -- even after Trump stumped for him and held an election eve rally Monday night in Lexington. A wildly unpopular Republican incumbent in Kentucky hellbent on taking away people’s healthcare while buddying up to Trump turns out to be vulnerable at the ballot box.

Sound familiar?

As it turns out, Mitch McConnell doesn’t have many friends in Kentucky either. A recent poll announced that McConnell is STILL the least popular senator in the United States, with a 50% in-state disapproval rating, compared to only 37% approval.

Despite this, he somehow is one of the most powerful men in Washington, gleefully burying progressive legislation (and Merrick Garland’s Supreme Court nomination) before it can even have a vote and stomping out dissent in his own ranks in the face of the president’s high crimes and misdemeanors.

This is not who we need in the Senate. We need someone who is going to listen to constituents, work with colleagues, and move this country forward.

Fortunately, we have just that person in Amy McGrath. Her campaign is already going strong. In the third quarter alone, she raised a whopping $10.7 million -- while Mitch only raised $2.3 million.

We finally have a shot at unseating Mitch McConnell.

McGrath’s candidacy couldn’t come at a better time. While McConnell has repeatedly protected Trump, ignored the Constitution, and defied basic human decency, he’s also digging in deep to cheat his way to re-election. Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao (who just so happens to be married to McConnell) appointed a special liaison to help with grant applications that benefit Kentucky.

Her unethical behavior resulted in at least $78 million being spent in Kentucky ahead of her husband’s impending re-election bid. She’s also under investigation by the House Oversight Committee for using her position to get her family members lucrative business opportunities and loans, allegedly totalling in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

Obviously McConnell and Chao will stop at nothing to hold onto this seat. We’re asking voters what they think about this new development, and we need 105 more responses by MIDNIGHT:

Do you approve of Mitch McConnell?
YES  NO
