Congratulations to the atheist and humanist candidates who won their 2019 elections.
- Andrew Zwicker, an atheist, won re-election to the New Jersey General Assembly in District 16.
- Karl Frisch, an agnostic, won a seat on the Fairfax County (VA) School Board - Providence District.
- Bob Scott, a humanist, won re-election as Mayor of Franklin (NC).
- Jason Kasuncik, a humanist, won re-election to the City of Eastlake (OH) Council.
- Danny Choriki, a humanist, won a seat on the Billings (MT) City Council - Ward 3.

Thanks to all of our 2019 endorsed candidates[[link removed]] who helped build the visibility of the nontheist community and diminish the stigma against us. For the 2020 elections, we have already endorsed 25 candidates.[[link removed]]
Because of our work, more and more candidates and elected officials are now comfortable identifying as humanists, atheists, and agnostics (see our polling results from 2018[[link removed]] and our secular candidates guide[[link removed]]).
