John,

My name is Diana Rodriguez Davila. I’m a senior in college, an intern with the New York Immigration Coalition, and an advocate for immigrant justice. I’m also a DACA recipient and one of thousands of young people heading to D.C. next week to defend DACA and fight for the right to determine my future.

On November 12th, the Supreme Court will hear one of the defining cases of our nation’s political history—the outcome of which will determine the fate of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals and the lives of nearly one million youth—people just like me—across the country.
But we need your help to make sure the Supreme Court hears our voices.

Join us in D.C. on November 12th to rally in solidarity with the 11 million Dreamers, TPS recipients, and undocumented folks who call this country home.

Over two years ago, the Trump administration’s attempt to terminate the DACA program thrust my life and the lives of nearly 800,000 young Americans into uncertainty. With the upcoming SCOTUS hearing, the legal battle to defend DACA has reached a critical moment, and we need to affirm that for DACA and TPS recipients, “Home is here, and we’re here to stay!”

DACA has opened so many doors for me—with DACA, I’ve been able to pursue a college education in public affairs and contribute to my community by working with the New York State Assembly and the NYIC to fight for the rights of thousands of immigrant youth and our families. And my story is far from the only one.

Now more than ever, it’s important for all of us, DREAMers, advocates, allies, to show up and have our voices heard. Join us ([link removed]) at the steps of the Supreme Court next Tuesday to #DefendDACA and to fight for a permanent solution for all undocumented immigrants who call America home.

See you in D.C.! ([link removed])

In solidarity,
Diana

P.S. If you can't make it on November 12, you can be there in spirit ([link removed]) by supporting our efforts to send people to D.C. and to make sure they're well-fed and fueled up to rally and defend DACA and TPS!
